Sheffield City Council (Public Health) commission Health and Wellbeing Support (which includes Weight Management Support) for the city.
These health and wellbeing services/programmes are usually delivered by a local community weight management service, and they support people to develop healthier habits and improve their health and wellbeing.
Our existing contract for family support ends 31st March 2024, and ahead of a competitive tender process to recommission a similar service, Sheffield City Council are beginning to consult with a wide range of stakeholders, including the public.
Who can respond to the consultation?
Anyone who is a parent/guardian/carer of a child or children under 18 years old
Weight is mentioned as part of this survey, and this can be a sensitive topic for many people - if you want to leave the survey at any point, you can do. All responses are also anonymous.
By filling out this survey, you will be helping us understand what parents/guardians would want from a health and wellbeing programme for their children, and what would be the drivers and barriers to them attending.
