Overview

Please give your views on a Healthwatch service

Healthwatch Sheffield is the voice for Sheffield children, young people and adults on all matters to do with health and social care in Sheffield. It:

  • collects and represents the views of local children, young people and adults with health and social care decision-makers
  • checks on the quality of health and social care services
  • offers information and advice about health and social care to people who need it

The Council will be recommissioning Healthwatch Sheffield for a new contract to start in April 2017.

In the initial consultation to set up and establish Healthwatch in Sheffield from 2013, some key themes were agreed which pulled together people’s priorities for Healthwatch Sheffield and help Healthwatch Sheffield to do their job well. We would like you to tell us if you think these are still important for Healthwatch Sheffield.

We will use what you say to highlight the things that are really important to Sheffield people in the future service design.

Please note that this is not a consultation for you to tell us what you think about the current Healthwatch in Sheffield. Please think about how you might like things to look in the future and what is important to you, rather than how things look today or what has happened in the past.

If you would prefer to give us your views face to face, we are also holding a focus group on Tuesday 15 March 2016, at 2pm - 4pm in the Town Hall. If you are interested in attending, please contact Amelia at amelia.stockdale@sheffield.gov.uk to book a place.
