Adult Social Care Strategy 2021-2030

Closes 13 Feb 2022

Opened 17 Jan 2022

Overview

We're pleased to share the final draft of our new adult social care strategy – Living the Life You Want to Live 2021-2030 – and the draft plan which describes some of the actions needed to make the strategy a success.

The strategy is the result of the work we've done with you together over the last 15 months:

Autumn 2020 - consultation on a first draft and using the feedback we received to develop the strategy.

Throughout 2021 - joint work with a wide range of individuals and groups. This included people who receive care and support, their carers and communities; and people who work in the field of adult health and social care, including from the voluntary sector.

Thank you to everyone who's given their time, knowledge and experience to produce this strategy. We’re now asking for any final comments before we formally agree the strategy and plan at our Co-operative Executive meeting in March 2022.

Below you'll find:

  • the full strategy,
  • an easy read version of the strategy, and
