Following 15 months of consultation with lots of Sheffield citizens and partners, Sheffield City Council have now developed our Adult Social Care Strategy - Living the life you want to live Sheffield's vision for Adult Social Care 2022 - 2030 .
One of the key priorities from the adult social care strategy was to make sure that we recognise and value the social care workforce.
We committed to develop a workforce plan which empowers and values the adult social care workforce, is representative of our diverse communities and sets out how we will improve recruitment, retention and improve conditions for all social care workers in Sheffield.
Sheffield City Council are undertaking work to develop an Adult Social Care Workforce Plan. To help us to develop the Adult Social Care Workforce Plan we are seeking views from colleagues from across health and social care on a range of issues relating to workforce.
We want to hear from anyone working within adult social care, regardless of who they are employed by.
We would love to hear from you. We want to make sure we identify the key issues, priorities, challenges and opportunities, and find out your ideas about how the workforce plan can best be delivered in Adult Social Care.
