Stocksbridge Towns Fund - library consultation

Closed 3 Oct 2021

Opened 13 Sep 2021

Overview

Stocksbridge Library is part of the £24.1 million Towns Fund project for Stocksbridge with plans for a brand new, modern facility. The Towns Fund is working with Sheffield City Council and the library will be a key part of the new community hub which is being developed on the site. The hub will also contain offices, a pharmacy, and the new library. More information can be found at www.welcometostocksbridge.co.uk

During the construction phase, not expected to start until late 2022, the library will be relocated to a temporary location in the town and of course we’ll keep all library users updated as plans progress.

As part of the on-going consultation, we’d like to hear your thoughts on how you currently use the library and any suggestions you have as to what you love and value about the library now, and what could be improved in a new facility. We’ll publish the results of this survey in the library and let you know which ideas we can take forward to make Stocksbridge Library the heart of the new community hub.
