Gleadless Valley Residents Survey

Closed 13 Dec 2017

Opened 6 Nov 2017

Do you live in Gleadless Valley? Would you like the chance to win up to £50 in shopping vouchers?!

If you answered ‘yes’ to these questions, we want to hear from you!

Sheffield City Council has secured funding from the Government to develop a long term plan for Gleadless Valley to make it an even better place to live. This is called a masterplan.

We want to make sure that the masterplan for Gleadless Valley helps us improve the neighbourhood for years to come. A good masterplan needs everyone possible to contribute and we want to give local people plenty of opportunity to get involved. This will allow us to gather the local knowledge needed to create the best plan possible. This feedback will be used to help draw up a plan to improve and make the most of the Gleadless Valley neighbourhood.
This survey is just the start of the consultation process and we will be contacting residents again in 2018 to set out the ideas for the estate and to obtain your views.
Having an agreed master plan will help us to prioritise future investment in the area and talk to central Government about additional money to deliver the plan. However, we may be able to deliver some changes without additional funding.

Why We Are Consulting

This survey has been developed for the residents of Gleadless Valley and is one of the opportunities for you to have your say on any changes that might be proposed in the plan.
Please spend some time telling us what you think. Answer as many questions as possible or put ‘not relevant’ if the question does not apply to you. All your answers will be treated as confidential, and will be used for information purposes only.
Please submit the survey no later than Wednesday 13th December 2017.

What Happens Next

Once the consultation period is closed, we will collate and analyse all the information received through the online and postal surveys, consultation events, and stakeholder meetings.

Working with local Councillors and colleagues across Sheffield City Council, we will develop a set of proposals that inform future investment in the area.
