Overview

An Ilex aquifolium (commonly known as a Holly  tree) has been identified outside 537 Fulwood Road as being dead

Following an assessment carried out by our tree experts a recommendation has been made to remove the tree.

Once removed we proposed to replace the tree with a Zelkova serrata 'Green Vase' '

This will be relocated slightly to be planted in verge centrally outside 616 Fulwood Road.

This is an open verge providing ideal conditions for the new tree to establish as the original location is not suitable due to overshading issues.

Why your views matter

The Sheffield Tree Partnership have developed the draft Sheffield Street Tree Partnership Working Strategy.  This sets out our commitment to explain to local residents the reasons behind decisions to remove trees, and provide the opportunity to challenge these decisions through an open and transparent process.

A copy of the draft strategy is available at: https://www.wildsheffield.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/FINAL-Sheffield-Street-Tree-Partnership-Working-Strategy-July-2020.pdf
