Overview

A Prunus serrula (commonly known as an Cherry tree) has been identified on Abbeydale Park Rise, outside number 100 as being dead.

An assessment carried out by our tree experts noticed that the tree was virtually dead.

Once removed, we propose to replace the tree with a Magnolia kobus (Kobushi magnolia) which will be located in the verge, centrally outside 100 (same as previous tree).

Why your views matter

The Sheffield Tree Partnership have developed the Sheffield Street Tree Partnership Strategy.  This sets out our commitment to explain to local residents the reasons behind decisions to remove trees, and provide the opportunity to challenge these decisions through an open and transparent process.

A copy of the strategy is available at: https://www.wildsheffield.com/getinvolved/sheffield-street-tree-partnership/street-tree-strategy/
