Overview

A Betula pendula (commonly known as a Birch Tree) has been identified on Bochum Parkway opposite 31-33 as being dead

An assessment carried out by our tree experts noticed that the tree was dead

Once removed, we propose to replace the tree with a Morus nigra (black mulberry) which will be relocated to Little Norton Lane due to the dense planting in the current location. Nearest landmark would be adjacent to the rear garden of 43 Norton Lane

Why your views matter

The Sheffield Tree Partnership have developed the draft Sheffield Street Tree Partnership Working Strategy.  This sets out our commitment to explain to local residents the reasons behind decisions to remove trees, and provide the opportunity to challenge these decisions through an open and transparent process.

A copy of the draft strategy is available at: https://www.wildsheffield.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/FINAL-Sheffield-Street-Tree-Partnership-Working-Strategy-July-2020.pdf
