Overview

A Sorbus aucuparia (commonly known as an Rpwan tree) has been identified on Cannon Hall Road - opposite the junction of Fir Vale Place as being dead

An assessment carried out by our tree experts noticed that the tree is dead

Once removed, we propose to replace the tree with an Alnus cordata (Italian Alder), which will be relocated slightly to opposite 50-52 to avoid  overhead wires

Why your views matter

The Sheffield Tree Partnership have developed the draft Sheffield Street Tree Partnership Working Strategy.  This sets out our commitment to explain to local residents the reasons behind decisions to remove trees, and provide the opportunity to challenge these decisions through an open and transparent process.

A copy of the draft strategy is available at: https://www.wildsheffield.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/FINAL-Sheffield-Street-Tree-Partnership-Working-Strategy-July-2020.pdf
