We asked

We initially consulted on BT’s proposal to remove 46 payphones in the Sheffield Area from 20 April 2021 to 31 May 2021.  A further consultation was then undertaken from 28 June 2021 to 27 July 2021 on a ‘First Notification’ draft decision.

You said

We received one comment on the initial consultation and five comments on the ‘First Notification’ draft decision.

We did

We have now issued a ‘Final Notification’ which is our final decision on whether to object or consent to the removal of the payphone equipment at the 46 proposed locations across the city.

After considering the comments from this consultation we have now sent our final decision, to the Secretary of State and BT.  Please see attached the Final Notification for details.

What happens next

After considering the comments from this consultation, we will produce a Final Notification and issue it to the Secretary of State and BT.  We will then publish the Final Notification for information purposes.
