There were no responses to this consultation, works will therefore proceed as planned to replace the tree.
A Prunus sp (commonly known as a Cherry) has been identified on Crispin Close outside house No.7 as being dead.
An assessment carried out by our tree experts found the tree has died and is in very poor physiological condition.
Once removed, we propose to replace the tree with a Cornus mas (Cornelian Cherry) in the same location as the original tree, outside No.7.
The Sheffield Tree Partnership have developed the draft Sheffield Street Tree Partnership Working Strategy. This sets out our commitment to explain to local residents the reasons behind decisions to remove trees, and provide the opportunity to challenge these decisions through an open and transparent process.
A copy of the draft strategy is available at: https://www.wildsheffield.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/FINAL-Sheffield-Street-Tree-Partnership-Working-Strategy-July-2020.pdf
