Overview

A Betula pendula (commonly known as a Birch Tree) has been identified on Hagg Lane adjacent to the entrance of Folly Foot as being dead.

An assessment carried out by our tree experts noticed that the tree was dead

Once removed, we propose to replace the tree with another Betula pendula (Birch tree) relocating slightly to opposite number 22 due to the proximity of a drystone wall at the original location.

Why your views matter

The Sheffield Tree Partnership have developed the draft Sheffield Street Tree Partnership Working Strategy.  This sets out our commitment to explain to local residents the reasons behind decisions to remove trees, and provide the opportunity to challenge these decisions through an open and transparent process.

A copy of the draft strategy is available at: https://www.wildsheffield.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/FINAL-Sheffield-Street-Tree-Partnership-Working-Strategy-July-2020.pdf
