Works will therefore proceed as planned.
A Sorbus auciuparia (commonly known as a Rowan Tree) has been identified on Hill Top Crescent opposite outside 32 as being dead
An assessment carried out by our tree experts noticed that the tree was dead
Once removed, we propose to replace the tree with a Betula albonsinensis (Chinese Red Birch tree) which will be relocated to adjacent to number 2 The Lea due to proximity to a fence at the original location.
The Sheffield Tree Partnership have developed the draft Sheffield Street Tree Partnership Working Strategy. This sets out our commitment to explain to local residents the reasons behind decisions to remove trees, and provide the opportunity to challenge these decisions through an open and transparent process.
A copy of the draft strategy is available at: https://www.wildsheffield.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/FINAL-Sheffield-Street-Tree-Partnership-Working-Strategy-July-2020.pdf
