Sheffield Open Space and Outdoor Recreation survey

Closed 24 Feb 2017

Opened 27 Jan 2017

Sheffield City Council’s Planning Service is working with Ethos Environmental Planning to carry out an assessment of all of the city’s open spaces and places for outdoor recreation, including parks and recreation grounds, woodlands and nature areas, to help us plan for the future of our open spaces.  As part of this, we are keen to understand more about how you use and value your local outdoor recreational spaces and what might improve their attractiveness to local people.

We would be very grateful if you could find a few minutes to complete the online survey.

All the information received from this questionnaire will be treated in confidence.  Please see the attached Publishing Privacy statement for further detail.

Why your views matter

The results of this survey will help us to understand what you think about existing open space, outdoor play and outdoor recreation facilities in your area.

What happens next

The findings of this survey will help the City Council to understand the needs and aspirations of local people regarding the open space, outdoor play and outdoor recreation facilities in Sheffield. This will help the Council and its partners to plan for future provision based upon sound evidence.
