A Corylus colurna (commonly known as a Turkish hazel) has been identified on Sicey Avenue outside number 389 as being dead.
An assessment carried out by our tree experts found the tree has died.
Once removed, we propose to replace the tree with the same type of tree this being a Corylus colurna (Turkish hazel) in the same location outside number 389.
The Sheffield Tree Partnership have developed the draft Sheffield Street Tree Partnership Working Strategy. This sets out our commitment to explain to local residents the reasons behind decisions to remove trees, and provide the opportunity to challenge these decisions through an open and transparent process.
A copy of the draft strategy is available at: https://www.wildsheffield.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/FINAL-Sheffield-Street-Tree-Partnership-Working-Strategy-July-2020.pdf
