Overview

A Prunus Kanzan (commonly known as a Cherry tree) has been identified outside 2 St Albans Drive as decaying at the base due to Ganoderma and has become structurally compromised.

Once removed, we propose to replace the tree with a Magnolia Kobus (Kobushi Magnolia) tree in the same location as the previous tree (centrally, outside number 2).

Why your views matter

The Sheffield Tree Partnership have developed the draft Sheffield Street Tree Partnership Working Strategy.  This sets out our commitment to explain to local residents the reasons behind decisions to remove trees, and provide the opportunity to challenge these decisions through an open and transparent process.

A copy of the draft strategy is available at: https://www.wildsheffield.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/FINAL-Sheffield-Street-Tree-Partnership-Working-Strategy-July-2020.pdf
